Party day
Party day, from drop-off to pickup
You do not inflate the bounce house. We do. Here is the morning in the order it actually happens.
The short list
- We arrive before the party. Setup time is not taken out of play time.
- Leave a clear path from the truck to the setup spot.
- Have an outdoor outlet ready, or a generator if you are at a park.
- Keep pets inside until setup is done.
- The blower stays plugged in the whole rental.
- Have the unit empty before pickup.

When we arrive
We usually arrive 30 minutes to 3 hours before your rental start. On a busy day it can be earlier.
Setup time is not taken out of the play time. The clock for the party starts at the time you booked.
How long setup takes
Once the driver is on site, Austin setups are typically fast: about 3.5 to 15 minutes, depending on the unit.
What the driver needs
- A clear path from the truck to the spot where the bounce house will sit.
- Pets inside until setup is done.
- On a driveway with no grass, a car can be used as an anchor.
Power
The blower has to plug in. If it is unplugged, the bounce house deflates.
- Austin: an outdoor outlet within about 100 feet, or a generator.
- Michigan: an outdoor outlet within about 75 feet, or a generator.
Parks
Parks usually have no power. Book a generator.
Spots are first come, first served.
A park is a planning job, not a permit. Call the park and get written approval before you book. We deliver only after the venue is cleared. The parks guide lists places to ask, and places that are not a fit.
The blower stays on
The blower stays plugged in the whole rental. Unplugged means it deflates.
The one time you turn the blower off is high wind. Get everyone off first, then turn it off. That rule lives on the weather page.
Pickup
Have the unit empty when we come back.
For water toys and water guns, empty them and get them as dry as practical.
