Renting a Bounce House

The mom-friendly guide to a safe, happy party

Safety

Safety for the adult at the entrance

This page is for the parent who will be supervising. The rules are simple. They are also the whole job.

One adult, the entire time

One adult stays at the inflatable the entire time it is in use. No exceptions.

That means at the entrance, not in the kitchen and not across the yard. If you need a break, another adult takes the spot before you leave.

Mix ages carefully

Little ones do not bounce with big kids.

If the group is mixed, take turns. The little group goes in. Then the big kids. They do not share the bounce at the same time.

What stays outside

Shoes off before anyone climbs in.

  • No glasses, jewelry, or sharp objects.
  • No food, drinks, or gum.
  • No face paint.

Silly string is banned

It stains vinyl permanently. We cannot get it out. Keep it out of the party supplies.

Flips and how many kids

No flips unless the unit is made for them.

Capacity is a real number. If it feels crowded, rotate groups.

Normal wear, and damage

You are not charged for normal wear.

Damage from ignored rules can be the renter’s responsibility. The one that hurts a unit most is leaving the blower on in high wind.

A trust fact

Austin Bounce House Rentals carries $3 million in liability insurance. That is more than Texas requires. Units are inspected.
